New X1+ Card Opens Waitlist for Spring 2023 Arrival

The X1 Plus credit card.

Fintech company X1 has opened the waitlist for its new X1+ credit card, which it expects to be available this spring.

The X1+ expands on the company’s X1 Card offering with additional rewards and perks tailored for travel and premium experiences.

X1+ cardholders will automatically get 4 points per dollar spent with Expedia, Hotels.com, and VRBO. They will also receive the standard X1 rewards, including 2X points on every purchase, 3X points when spending $1,000 or more in a month, up to 10X points for each invited friend who gets approved for a card, and up to 10X points with partner brands when shopping in the X1 App.

The X1+ will offer worldwide on-demand lounge access at more than 1,000 priority lounges. It will also provide complimentary lounge passes for the cardholder and up to 4 companions in the event of a flight delay of 1 hour or more.

The card itself will be 17g of stainless steel with laser etching, and will be available in classic silver, gold, or rose gold. Cardholders can receive a metal card with no visible card number or secure information. Disposable virtual cards will be offered as well.

The X1+ will be issued by Coastal Community Bank and will use the Visa network. X1+ will not assess foreign transaction fees, but the annual fee for the card will be $75. For complete information or to sign up, visit the X1+ waitlist page.
