The Select luxury membership community has opened the waitlist for their upcoming Select World Elite Mastercard release.
Select provides its membership community with exclusive benefits at a curated group of dining, entertainment, nightlife, retail, and travel partners. Members receive special benefits, perks, and discounts at over a million locations and online.
The new card will offer 2% cash back on all spend categories except grocery and service industries, which will earn 1% back. Payments toward utilities will not earn rewards.
Other cardmember perks include unpublished hotel rates, complimentary cocktails, cash back, and discounts of up to 60% with Select’s premier partner brands and venues worldwide. The card will also include the standard slate of World Elite Mastercard benefits.
The card will be powered by credit card platform Deserve.
“Offering a customer-focused, lifestyle-improving card, in partnership with financial industry leaders like Mastercard and Deserve, will help us better deliver on our mission and reach a larger audience,” said Select CEO Carlo Cisco in a press release.
The annual fee for the card is $450, which covers the yearly Select membership cost. Invitations to apply for the card will be granted sequentially, but current Select members and prospective members who invite others to the waitlist will have priority.
