The Simon American Express Credit Card from Cardless, announced in October 2022, is now available to new applicants.
Cardless is a fintech company specializing in cobrand credit card products. Simon is a real estate investment trust with a portfolio of hundreds of malls, mills, designer and premium outlets, and mixed-use destinations.
The new product offers cardmembers 3% back in redeemable statement credits on purchases with retailers at any Simon mall, mills, or premium outlet in the US. Cardmembers can also get up to 5% back on eligible purchases at participating Simon destination retailers, along with select online purchases.
Additionally, cardmembers will get 1.5% back on in-store purchases using Apple Pay or Google Wallet, and 1% back everywhere else. New cardmembers will receive a $150 statement credit after spending $1,000 in the first 90 days.
Upon approval, new cardmembers can add a virtual card to their mobile wallet for immediate use. Cardmembers can also access offers from Simon retailers and other merchants via Amex Offers, as well as select benefits that come with Cardless cards on the American Express network.
“Our collaboration with Cardless and American Express will make it possible to engage Simon shoppers in a whole new way, giving them the opportunity to shop more and earn more with the Simon credit card,” said Mikael Thygesen, Simon’s chief marketing officer, in a press release.
