U.S. bank has announced a new business travel credit card, the Business Altitude Connect World Elite Mastercard. The card is expected to be available to new applicants next month.
Cardholders will earn 5X points on hotels and rental cars booked through U.S. Bank’s Altitude Rewards Center. Additionally, the card will offer 4X points on travel (including airfare, hotels, gas, and EV charging stations) on the first $150,000 in combined annual spend.
The Business Altitude Connect will also award 2X points on dining, takeout, restaurant delivery, and cell phone service. Cardholders will earn 1X points for all other purchases.
The card will include Priority Pass Digital annual membership with access to more than 1,300 VIP lounges worldwide, plus four complimentary visits per membership year. Cardmembers will also receive a $25 statement credit after every three consecutive monthly taxi or rideshare transactions paid for with the card.
Cardholders who have a personal U.S. Bank Altitude Go or Altitude Connect card will be able to transfer points between their business and personal Altitude cards for faster redemption. Further, the card allows large purchases to be divided into fixed monthly payments via the U.S. Bank ExtendPay Plan.
The card will offer a welcome bonus, too. New account owners will earn 60,000 points after spending $6,000 in the first 180 days of account opening.
The card does not assess foreign transaction fees. There is no annual fee for the first year, but the card charges $95 per year thereafter.
